We already said in another article that Nintendo will release it’s Nintendo 3DS. Now the question has been asked about Sony making a 3D handheld called the Sony PSP 3D.
We can say that Sony isn’t
“Our focus on 3D right now is on the PS3. There are coming more 3D televisions and we want to let users play 3D games and movies on this new televisions. The amount of interest in 3D from the retail side and game publishers is off the charts. We know we have a hit with 3D on PS3 and we’re going to concentrate our efforts there.”
This means that Sony is working on 3D features, but only for the Playstation 3. The interview was conducted by IGN who interviewed John Koller from SCEA who is the director of hardware and marketing.
Sony also sais that the market for the PS3 is much bigger. A market for 3D on the PSP is smaller, because younger children wouldn’t embrace the idea of 3D just yet.
People also say the the so called glasses free device of Nintendo isn’t that good as the rumors say it will be. We are at the beginning of the 3D-era. Experts believe that glasses free 3D technology will be better in 5 to 10 years.
For now Sony is not making a Sony PSP 3D handheld, but they are working on 3D content for the Playstation 3 to take 3D in the living room to a higher level.

SEGA has recently announced the release of Iron Man 2. The game will hit the stores on 30 April for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP and DS. This means that the game will come out when the new film hits movie theaters on the 29th of April.
The game
Iron Man 2 is developed by SEGA San Francisco, and the studio says to work closely together with Marvel. According to Ira Rubenstein of Marvel gamers must not think that Iron Man 2 will unpack as a ‘crappy’ licenced game! ”We don’t do games based on movies anymore”, did Rubenstein say recently. ”No wait, we don’t make ‘crappy’ on movies based games more. There you may quote me.” According to the executive vice president of Marvel, this second game of Iron Man will be much better then the first part which received not much credits. Many gaming sites rated this first Iron Man game 6 out of 10 or less.
Lamb of God
Recently it became also clear that the American band Lamb of God has written a song for the upcoming Iron Man 2 game. According to the metal band formation, the game suits perfect with their music, also the metal band formation was very serious about this project. According to the drummer Chris Adler “Some of the metal formation are real comic fans.”
