PS3 3D Firmware Update June 2010

Sony will release a firmware upgrade in June 2010, the update will enable 3D features on the Playstation 3. Specificaly. It will include 3D game support, but no support for Blu-ray movies. A second firmware update at the end of 2010 will add support for 3D movies. Customers who buy Sony’s newest television (HX803) will have access to 4 free remastered games.

So the PS3 continues to upgrade itself to be future proof, despite of the fact that you have to wait a little longer on the 3D movies in your own livingroom. Below follows a picture of the new Sony HX803 TV.
