At the university of Tokyo, students have added Wii remote control to a version of a wheelchair they call the Segwii. This Personal Mobility Robot contains one chair (one passenger) and balances on two wheels just like a real segway. This way remote wheelchairs could become cheaper in the future, while increasing the quality of the user interface. Wait until you will ride your own Segwii while playing a game in your livingroom.
